Thursday, April 16th

Learning Targets:

  • Students can describe Harriet Tubman using at least 5 adjectives.
  • I can describe in  my own words the Fugitive Slave Act and the impact it had on the North’s feelings of the slave issue. 

What we did:
1. Starter: What are 5 adjectives you would use for Harriet Tubman?
2. Finished the Harriet Tubman video.
3. Either corrected (Honors) or completed the Fugitive Slave Act Worksheet in class. 
4. Turned it in.

If you were absent:
1. Do the Starter
2. Watch the rest of the video (7th period only)
3. Get a white "Fugitive Slave Act" Worksheet from the binder. See me in Plus if you need help.

Homework assigned or turned in:
