2. Corrected the Ch. 5 Study Guide, Section 1 from yesterday.  We did NOT turn it in.
3. Listened to a lecture on Section 2 of Ch. 5
4. Filled out the next Study Guide for Section 2

1. Get the yellow "Section 2 Study Guide"
2. Using my key correct your Section 1 worksheet. Keep it.
3. Using the textbook, fill in the Section 2 worksheet.

Learning Targets:
1. I can summarize the events that led to our Independence from England.

2. I feel empathy for the trials our founding fathers and the patriots suffered for our freedoms.

What we did:
1. No Starter
2. Filled out a new "I Can" assessment and kept it.
3. Presented the Timeline Projects
4. Graded and turned in the DBQ Packet
5. Watched this video and started to write a Thank You letter to a founding father. We will finish them Monday.

If  you were absent:
1. Get a blue "I Can" assessment from the Blue Binder.

2. Turn in your Timeline Project with your name on it.

3. Turn in your DBQ Packet, I will grade it.

4. Watch this video and take 5 notes.

2. Worked to complete the DBQ Packet and then used Ipads to start typing the essay.

1. Be sure to finish your packet, including the Outline, and come see me with any questions.
2. We will have the Ipads Thursday as well and the essay is due by Thursday midnight.

Learning Target:
1. I can remember what battle was the turning point and the last battle of the Revolutionary War.

2. I can define DBQ and explain why we do them.

What we did:
1. Starter
2. Took a "quiz" on the Battle of Saratoga and Yorktown
3. Filled out the "I Can" assessment paper for Pre-Revolution
4. Started the Valley Forge DBQ

If you were absent:
1. Do the Starter: What does DBQ stand for? And why do we do them?

2. Go to the Blue Binder and get the blue "Chapter Review" paper and take it like a quiz. Then correct it and add the correct answers in a different color.

3. Find your "I Can" paper (it's a beige color) and fill it out with today's date.  You should be able to put 3's and 4's down but it's okay if  you can't.  Show it to me when  you are done.

4. Get the blue "Valley Forge: Would You Have Quit" DBQ Packet from the blue binder.  Do the first two pages.
