Learning Objective:
Students will discover the events that led to the Revolutionary War.

What we did:

2. Took notes on Intolerable Acts and 1st Continental Congress to complete the booklet.
3. Watched video clip of the trail for the Boston Massacre, and worked on pictures for book.

1. Starter: Explain the taxes the colonists had to pay and why they felt it was unfair.

2. Took more notes: Boston Massacre

2. For the Boston Massacre, we analyzed two depictions of the Massacre and the students summarized in their own words what they think happened as their notes.  SO, come see me and I will lead you through the powerpoint and what to do.  Also, get a BLUE worksheet from the binder.

Learning Objective:
Students will discover the events that led to the Revolutionary War.

What we did:
1. Starter: The French and Indian War: Who against who?  Where? Why?

2. Finished making the books, numbered the pages and wrote names on the front.

3. Took notes on French and Indian War and the Proclamation of 1763

4. Watched videos of about the notes.

2. Finish making your book with my help of with a classmate.

Students will identify the products of each colonial region and learn how to invest in each.  

What we did:
1. Starter: Name one product for each region that you would find there:
          -New England
          -Middle Colonies
          -Southern Colonies
          -Frontier

2. Read about Colonial Economy and filled out a little quiz.

3. Played one practice round of the game that we will continue Tuesday.

1. Do the Starter
2. Get a reading paper from me and the blue worksheet from the blue binder.  Fill out the side with the questions (not the table).
3. Correct that side with my key.

2. Took the 13 Colony Map Test
3. Corrected the Test in most classes
4. Finished the Triangle Trade notes
5. Some classes looked at pictures of Plymouth, Boston and Salem.

1. Come ASAP during Plus to take the test. You have until next Friday! After that date I will not allow you to take the test.

Learning Objective:
Students will imagine themselves on the Middle Passage and they will create a diagram about the Triangle Trade

What we did:
1. Starter: List from North to South the 13 Colonies.

2. We added Boston Harbor, Chesapeake Bay, and Atlantic Ocean to our Colony Maps and discussed what would be on the map test Friday.

3. Finished the Middle Passage and corrected and turned it in.

4. Took notes on the Triangle Trade.

2. Check with me to add those 3 places to your map before you take the test.

3. Get the Triangle Trade wkst and notes from a classmate.

4. You may have one extra day to take the Map Test if you feel unprepared from your absence.

1. Starter: What do you think would be the worst part of the Middle Passage?

Learning Objective:
Students will dive deeper into the subject of the Middle Passage and will feel empathy for those that suffered.

What we did:
1. Starter: What was the Middle Passage?
2. Received new Citizenship Card
3. Re-wrote our 3 goals on the back of the Citizenship Card.
4. Organized papers into a "keep" pile and a "notes" pile
5. The Notes will be turned in Tuesday for credit.
6. Started to learn about the Middle Passage by filling in a worksheet.

2. Get the materials from the blue binder
3. Clean out your folder using these pictures for help.  We will do a Notes Check Tuesday. 



4. Get a gray worksheet from the blue binder.
