Learning Objective:
 Know the major climates around the world.
What we did:
1.Starter: In 2 sentences and in your own words, define Geography.
2. Finished 2 Truths and a Lie
3. Turned in Disclosures
4. Finished the Geography Notes.

If you were absent:
1.Do the Starter
2. Turn in  your Disclosure signed to the PINK basket with a STAR stamp on it.
3. Get the rest of the notes from a classmate or under the "Notes and Handouts" tab.

1. Do the Starter
2. Find the presentation called "Geography Notes" under "Notes and Handouts" on the blog.  Take notes on slides 1-9 on your green wkst.

-Take notes on Slides 1-9
-Disclosure Signatures due Friday.

What we did:
1. Starter: What are the steps you need to take when  you are absent?
2. 2 Truths and a lie
3. Received some handouts
4. Made SMART goals.
5. Discussed outlining notes and started Geography notes.

If you were absent:
1. Do the Starter
2. Get a GOLD Citizenship paper from the BLUE binder.  KEEP THIS PAPER AND HAVE IT WITH YOU EVERYDAY!!!
3. Ask a classmate about making SMART Goals and write your 3 goals in your Planner on page 24 at the top.
4. Get a GREEN "Geography Notes" wkst from the BLUE binder and get the notes from a classmate, or from this website under NOTES.

 Students will learn more about each other, and the procedures for our class.  

What we did:
1. Starter: What 4 things must be done to leave the room?
2. Finished the Presentation from yesterday and finished the tour around the room.
3. Procedure Scavenger Hunt
4. Received Disclosures and Handbooks.

If you were absent:
1.Do the Starter
2. Get a "Procedure Scavenger Hunt" worksheet from the BLUE binder on the Student desk and then ask me for help to complete it.
3. Get a BLUE Handbook and a Disclosure (Honors is BLUE, Regular is GREEN) from the Blue Binder.

Homework assigned or turned in:
1. HONORS: Paragraph is due tomorrow
2. ALL: Disclosures need to be signed by Friday.

Learning Objective:
 To get to know Mrs. Dickson, feel comfortable in the room, and learn what we will be learning.

What we did:
1. Found assigned seats
2. Did a "Starter" by making a name tag and wrote 2 truths and a lie.
3. Went over the 1st Day of School PowerPoint found here.
4. Tour of the room, explained where things are, etc.

If you were absent:
1. Ask me for a 3X5 Card to make your Name Tag and other materials.
